LCD Scratch?
Today, little has been decided to launch a pumice stone to me while on my Macbook. Anyway, the stone jumped on the screen LCD and there is now little gouges in the screen (some quite serious, some not, but I feel with my fingernail). I did my research. Tried toothpaste and petroleum jelly and even shaving cream for men. Nothing. Apple wants $ 800 to repair … OUCH. Not to mention that 6 months of age. Is there a product out there that can help? Some kind load? I've seen things online, but the evidence is not so great. Any suggestions would be great. Even if I have to replace, it is cheaper at some place I can repaired? Serious answers only please. Thanks for looking!
If the display still works, you might think to live with it suck. This is not a repair, you can do if you have some experience who are willing to take risks. I think it is unlikely that you can talk to an Apple warranty repair, because the problem is a pity, no component failure. By the way, pay no attention to hate the types of Mac and PC. PC users, especially in IT, hatred and fear that the Mac because it is a threat. The LCD will cost more than the PC, yes, but just think of money and time you are not spending to fight the virus, the blue screen of death not to mention the dream, not to lose the fear that someone has hacked your computer and steal your social security number and credit card numbers.
